Anything Above 0 Compounds

Don’t wait.

Just start.

Do something.

Every action — even tiny ones — matters.

Don’t have 100% today?
That’s fine.

Also, 1% adds up.

Just do one thing today.
That’s 365 things done in a year.

Write one post.
Film one video.

When you’re on a roll,
you can do so much more.

Every single step forward is movement.

Don’t get discouraged. Just keep going.

Showing up every day is more important than showing up perfect.

Even if it seems hard to post something and share —
just do it anyway.

It will prove you did more.
It will take the guesswork away.

Over time, you’ll actually get better.

Something above 0 is always going to be better than staying at 0.

As soon as you hit day one,
you start building — and it’s 1.

Now do 1 more and get 1% better.
Now you have:
2 x 101%.

Now the magic starts:

You will get into the world of the compound effect.
It’s not just adding anymore.

It’s now a compounding factor.

You just keep going
slowly, but steadily.
And you will end up with a massive action base.

This is what overnight success looks like.
It is compounding in the corner where nobody looked.

This is your tree work.
Do the work.
Just one simple task per day.

It will form a massive snowball.

The most wood actually grows on old trees.

Young trees grow faster,
but they don’t have the massive diameter that a 100-year-old tree has.

The young tree can’t compete on this scale yet.

But:

It will get there someday — because it never stops growing deeply.

  • Goal or Journey? Both!

Hey Reader, When I was in university, there was a big debate: Whether life was about the goal to achieve or enjoying living the journey. As a success-driven person, I always stated that the goal and the outcome matter most. Now that I hunted success for many years, I’ve noticed another pattern. If you don’t enjoy the process to get the success—success is falling short. You need to have goals because they serve as landmarks to give your journey a direction. That is something I have seen in…

  • Stick to the basics

Hey Reader, Often I feel like I could skip ahead. Like I know what it’s about and then I fast forward. This newsletter today is an important reminder for myself as well. When my son was a bit younger, like last year, he was trying to walk. He was practicing one step at a time. Now, when we’re going to the park, he loves to run around. There are situations where he is less comfortable. So he slows down. He takes it one step at a time. Obviously, it doesn’t always work. He falls down and gets…

  • It’s Not About the Money

When you’re scrolling through X/Threads, it seems like it’s all about wealth. The business community is all about generating more wealth. Yesterday I was thinking about the three eternal wants:Wealth, health, and relationships. I was trying to figure out what connection they have. They seem easy to chase in loops. They link to each other on many levels. This morning a thought struck: Often we think of them as goals. We want more wealth, better health, and better relationships. Yet the moment…

  • What if You Actually Tried?

I wasn’t a great student in school.I did what had to be done. This was the minimum to be average. Yet when I really wanted something,I could go above and beyond to get it.I just went for it and figured it out. Sadly, in our school system,we get taught that the cool kids are not trying hard.Cool kids are lazy and care less. It flows into our culture today, where you get made fun of for trying hard. This makes me sad, because there are so many things we can do.There are so many opportunities. It…

  • Going Viral is Slowing You Down

Hey Reader, I can’t hear it anymore. Going viral has started to become a red flag for me. Everybody is waiting to go viral.Yet it’s not worth that much. What happens when you go viral? You become known for that one thing. Most people that go viral only end up as one-hit wonders. Going viral also means that you’ll be shown to many new people— people that won’t fit your dream clients. You’ll have to deal with: Many less comments More noise People who just want to get your attention If you’re not…

  • The Trap of Wantrepreneurs

A lot more people want to start a business today. A lot of people dream about the life they are wishing to live. But only a few starts — and even fewer succeed. I’ve been working on my business for the last 8 years. From having the idea, pivoting to a different offer, to learning the required skills—it has taken me a while. The last 5 years I fully committed to the craft. The reality is: starting a business is hard work. I have not been part of the community for a while. It took me a long…
