Don’t do it for the money.

Hey Reader,

I know making money is important. You need to make money to run your business.

Many people have said it before me:

Don’t just do something for the money.

Do it for helping the people.
Do it for the bigger picture.
Do it for the fun.
Do it for the curiosity.

But don’t do it for the money.

Time and time again I observe men starting a business.
They heard that Real Estate, eCommerce or Online Courses is where the money is made.
Then they get started.

Until they quit.

I’ve seen it time and time again.
Most don’t last long enough to make it work.
You only earn half as much.
It takes twice as long and is three times harder than you thought.

That’s the reality of starting a business.

You won’t last long enough when you’re only in it for the money.
The only way you’ll be able to last long enough is with your legacy mission.

What will you do to leave a legacy?

Even when it will take 10 years to get there.
What are you going to do that is worth the sacrifice, the hard work and the pain of not quitting?

That is what you should be doing.

I know it sounds hard. It is hard.

There is also nothing more fun when you’re working on your legacy mission.
You are pursuing your life’s calling.

The major side benefit is:
Nobody that’s in it for the money is going to beat you, because you’re ready to outwork them on any given day.

They are not able to compete with your drive.

What’s your legacy mission?

Reply to this mail and share your Legacy Mission with me!

Until next time!

Your Jowi

  • Don’t become a Tactic-Addict

Hey Reader, We are so often concentrated on learning everything there is. We want to be fully prepared. We do more and more research. It is all about knowing the latest tactics. We become addicted to learning the newest tactics. The new update to the tactic we’re already planning to use. There is a quote that got me thinking recently. I’m not sure who said it:“It’s not about learning all the tactics, it’s about becoming the person capable of using the tactics.” We need to become men of…

  • The Trail Notes

Introducing “The Trail Notes” – Newsletter Yesterday I shared with you the thoughts that guided my last 10 years. I wanted to find the best way to start and lead a family. Now that I’m blessed with my lovely wife and our son – it feels real. While I was looking back, I found that I’m always surrounding three major topics. I call them my BFFs – because it’s Business, Faith, and Family. I love all three and focus on them since they’re all eternal games – I can’t win or achieve them. So all…

  • Building a Business Wasn’t my 1st Dream

When I was growing up, I started to dream about my life. One idea that I also pursued was that I wanted to have a family. I knew that I wanted to get married and have kids.I wanted to provide for them and I wanted to spend my time with them. As I got older, reality started to settle in. What I was studying would maybe make some money. It would get us food on the table, but not much more. Maybe if I settled for a career in the field, a company would pay enough at some point. When I met my wife,…

  • We do it the 100X Way

We do it the 100X Way How many struggle with Perfectionism? I always thought things must be done to 100% completion, yet I seemed to fail every time. The question became: How should we do things? We should do it the 100X Way. Let me explain: First, you have to put as many seeds (ideas, content, etc.) out into the world. This is focused on Quantity. Once the seeds are out – you are in charge to water them and take care of them. This is giving without asking. Just be helpful. None of it has to…

  • Don’t Build a Business That Pays $1.50/hr

There is something that bugs me a lot… It’s a new trend that steals fathers away from their families. It’s the lifestyle side hustle. I’m all about building a business to provide for your family. But to me, it’s more than just delivering a pay-check. It’s about becoming a Present Provider. Yet, I observe so many fathers stepping into the world of business with a side hustle mentality. The goal is to make a little extra money on the side. The idea is often a little extra on cash by making some…

  • More Content Won’t Save a Bad Offer

One thing that comes up in my coaching calls a lot is that people want to just create more content. The client wishes to work more on content.Content creation definitely has a lot of value. I also enjoy it—the work. Yet creating more content only helps when we have a business in the booth. More content is not going to fix your offer problem. I have tried this many times—and it doesn’t work. I have grown a YouTube channel to be monetized to get the clicks to my offer. Because I was so focused…
