Fix your strategy to gain clarity

I have talked with more than 20 men in my coaching by now.

They all dream to grow a business.

Yet they all get stuck.

They are motivated, they have their reason and are excited to start.

Yet they lack the strategy.

They want clients.

Yet have no offer, no leads, and no conversion.

In the end, they are frustrated, confused, and overwhelmed.

I know how that feels.

I have been there too. It sucks.

When we’re in the coaching sessions, I come to bring the strategy to build an offer, get leads, and also convert them.

The result is that they have clarity.

For many of them, it’s the first time since starting their business that they have a clear road ahead of them.

They see the next step.

This is so wonderful to observe.

Over the last years, I have observed myself:

There are a few things we do or think that keep us stuck.

More knowledge – more tactics – more work – more distractions.

Reading more books and watching more YouTube videos is not going to help us.

When you don’t know what problem you’re solving:

Trying to stay up to date with the latest algorithm updates and newest trends is also not helping you.

When you’re struggling with the basics.

Another way is we don’t solve by working more.

I have also focused on productivity – trying to get more done.

This also didn’t help.

Because I can be working on the wrong things and run faster in the wrong direction.

  • The Trap of Wantrepreneurs

A lot more people want to start a business today. A lot of people dream about the life they are wishing to live. But only a few starts — and even fewer succeed. I’ve been working on my business for the last 8 years. From having the idea, pivoting to a different offer, to learning the required skills—it has taken me a while. The last 5 years I fully committed to the craft. The reality is: starting a business is hard work. I have not been part of the community for a while. It took me a long…

  • The No. 1 Misconception about Success in Business

Hey Reader, I enjoy success. There is something extremely satisfying about winning. For me, success is the biggest motivation to play. A statement that I used to define was: “We’re in it to win it.” The more I chase success, the more I notice some patterns of bad success. You look like you have it all, but you’ve lost the important things along the way. We all look at business and probably think that the amount of money is the deciding factor of success in business. The biggest misconception…

  • Avoid This Pricing Mistake Now

I sometimes click on ads. It is interesting to see how they are set up. I like to study what they do. On first sight, the ad looked good. The offer is interesting. The price is decent. I always feel the urge to double-check prices. And again: You are being charged $97 upfront and then $497 monthly. There is a price increase by 500% at the end of month one. Again, I found a sneaky price. This is why people get frustrated by online gurus. They are awesome at sales and suck at customer…

  • Don’t be too good to be true

Hey Reader, Every day I get DMs by people pitching me their service. I’m not a big fan of cold DMs or cold outreach, but there is an even bigger problem ahead. There is another inflation going around. Next to the financial inflation, there is also the offer inflation. I do enjoy most of the content by Alex Hormozi and I have both his books. There is a side effect of the $100M Offers book. Many juniors are starting out and create an offer that is “irresistible.” I agree with Alex Hormozi to…

  • Content Won’t Matter (Until You Know This)

The creator economy is bound to grow the next few years. A lot of people want to get onboard. The sad part is that I see a lot of repeated content. Something really copy-and-paste content. Taken from top creators. Now with AI added to the mix, there is also plenty of AI content out there. So people post every day, yet seem to not get it right. They are consistent— but not seeing any progress. I got a message the other day saying that my content “feels so different and unique.” Most people…
