In Business the winner is always the tortoise

Most people start their business as the hare.
Sprinting through the tasks.

I did that too — thinking the amount of work is what makes the difference.

So I tried to become more efficient.
I hustled all I could.

The interesting twist is:
The tortoise will win.

That is also true in business.

Business is not a sprint. It’s a life-long marathon.
There is no shortcut, because it ends when we’re dead.

Success will happen when you do the right things at the right time.
That’s the foundation side most of us miss.

To hustle until you figure out what works is a path.
But a path on a short cut that you need to change someday.

Most of the time, I have seen people switch from the hare to the tortoise.
And then they win.

This is also the point that we are slowing down.

What if I told you there is a way for you to switch to the tortoise now?

This is what I have been working towards the last years:
Building out a system to build your business for success — so that you can be more present for your family.

We can meet up for a Clarity Call to help you find the next step for your business —
so that you don’t need to hustle but focus on the right thing now.

If that sounds interesting, reply “Clarity”
and we will get you all set.

  • Creativity Is a Muscle, Not a Muse

How often do you hear:“I don’t know what to write about.”“I don’t know what to film.”“I don’t know what to paint.” How often have you used those excuses yourself when you came up to the creative task? In the beginning, I was also stressing out about not feeling creative. There are big gaps in my YouTube career. Those were times when I felt like I didn’t have any creative ideas. It all felt overwhelming. Other times, I felt the muse strike — and I had way too many ideas. Now I know: Creativity…

  • Why More Leads Might Hurt You

I see this all over the internet. People talk about needing more leads, or more new clients. My DMs are full with outreach offering me more leads. The reality is that most think they need more leads, when in reality they don’t have a good enough offer. Focus to help one person better, more and effective. Then you will have something to offer that is power. Take that out into the world and you’ll see:suddenly leads become easier. More leads doesn’t automatically grow your business. When you…

  • Followers Aren’t Created Equal

I see this so often in the last years:Creators come up. Think all they need to do to make money and drive a brand is to build a big following online. There is the idea that any following is going to make you rich. Your following just needs to be big enough. But the reality is that followers aren’t created equal. I would trade 1,000 followers on Instagram for 1,000 subscribers on YouTube any day. I’d also rather have 1,000 subscribers to my newsletter than 1 million TikTok followers. This is…

  • The No. 1 Skill for All Entrepreneurs

Hey Reader, When I was starting out, my wife said:“You seem to be like you’re on a rollercoaster.” When a video I uploaded performed well — I was excited.I was on top of the world. Another day, I got a bad comment, and the whole day was ruined by insecurity. This continued day in, day out. On extreme days, it was the top of the world in the morning, and the valley of death in the afternoon. This brings me to the most important skill to master: Emotional Resilience. That you don’t take…

  • How to Strive for Excellence

Hey Reader, I like to push myself to test my limits.Sometimes in the past, I’ve pushed myself too far. At 22, I almost had a burnout.I have stomach issues ever since. So: burnout is not really excellence. Striving for Excellence is like driving on a three-lane highway. You shouldn’t drive too fast and lose controland cross over into oncoming traffic. But you also shouldn’t drive too slowlyand steer off into the right side by pursuing perfection. Striving for Excellence has two limits: Don’t…
