The Era of Information Inflation

We live in the era of Information Inflation.

Most of us hear about the economic inflation. The numbers are going up.
We can buy less with the money we have.

The same is also true with Information Inflation.
We live in a world where information itself is worth little.

It used to be that books were so expensive.
There was only one Bible in the town that the priest could read.

Today we have Google, ChatGPT, and YouTube.
We can read, listen, and watch more information all day every day of the week.

The challenge is to know whether we can trust the information and whether it helps us right now with our problem.

This has an effect on how we can grow our business today.
In the past (not even that long ago), you could write a blog post and make a living from putting ads on the website.

This business model is losing power with each day right now.

The question is:
Where do we go from here?

We need to be personal, relatable, and trustworthy.

This is why I’m sending you one email a day with a personal story or insight.
It’s not about knowing more.
It’s about being more helpful in the application.

This is also the superpower.
You can do something really well?
Then you can get started right away.
Help people on a person-to-person level.

No need to make it complicated.

  • Work for Respect, Not Status

There is a massive difference between respect and status. There’s this good ol’ book — Rich Dad, Poor Dad.It was one of my first books I read about business. It introduced me to the idea that: There is a difference between rich and poor that goes beyond money. Over the years, this idea has become more and more nuanced. There are “rich” people that don’t have money, and there are “poor” people that have money. When I started out, I thought: Status = Success = the Wealth Generated. But I learned…

  • Most Men Want the Fire!

Hey Reader, A lot of men want the freedom, the money, the status, the fire.Few are willing to chop the wood. Let me explain. A few days ago I wrote about looking for the easy life.We all have another wish.We all are wishing for our dream life. Yet only a few actually take the first step to ignite the spark of the dream life. Most only wish for the big warm fire. They are looking for the fastest way to get rich. They are looking for the passive way to get rich. They look for the controversy that…

  • Persuasion, Good. Manipulation, Bad.

This is a topic I keep thinking about. I’m yet to fully grasp what it means. We don’t like to be manipulated. It often happens — when I’m on X or other social platforms,I feel like the Sales Bros are always trying to be manipulative. A lot of the strategies behind Persuasion and Manipulation are similar. They are similar to what they do —but we don’t like to be sold to. Yet, it becomes more complicated when we find out someone manipulated us to buy.We feel icky. That’s not nice. So how is…

  • Do This When You’re Just Starting Out

There is only one thing that matters in business: Helping people more, better and in new ways.People want help. Become the go-to person for your people for the subject. You can be friendly. You can be nice. In the end all that it comes down to is:Is it actually working? Because people only care about results. Do you help them achieve what they want? I have also struggled to understand this point. If you’re not getting results, people will eventually leave. On the contrary, if you get them…

  • You Won’t Have a Harvest Without Sowing

I see this every day online. People struggling to get a client. Struggling to make money. I have been there before. Aiming to reach a monthly income, ready for the harvest — and then coming up empty. No income. No clients. Just crickets. I thought I had good product. But in reality, I was more focused on what I would get out than what I gave. I didn’t actually sow any seeds. I was preparing for the harvest— only to wonder why it never came. That was a hard lesson. I still remember how…
