Working with Constraints

Everybody has constraints. We usually try to ignore them.

We try to show all the good things and advantages we have.

But we don’t want to share limitations we have.

Constraints are a powerful opportunity once you use them right. There is a saying that goes something like this:

“You can do anything, but you can’t do everything.”

The opportunities we have right now seem endless. You think you can conquer the world. Once reality hits, you realize – that you’re still stuck in your city.

I used to work as a student counselor. When I was talking to the students, they seemed to be overwhelmed by the sheer endless opportunities for their lives. This is where constraints really help.

You usually can’t change your constraints. They are often a result of one of your actions or decision. We have many constraints that we have by choice.

Being married, for example, is my most loved constraint. I love my wife. So, I don’t want to do anything to hurt her. This means I can’t go out partying by myself or dating other women. This is a joyful constraint to me – since I don’t like to do that. The big upside is, that I can enjoy the friendship and relationship with my wife – this is so much better than the other options.

The point that I’m trying to make is to find your constraints because they simplify what you can do.

This is also the reason the One-Dad Business is so good.

Most of you start in a 9-5, so you want to quit fast.

You need to earn a lot fast.

You are starting alone – hence the One-Dad.

Constraints are a good thing.

Just write a list of your Constraints down. Not to discourage you, but to set the stage for your story! Look at it as encouragement for your future Life.

Just get started!

  • The No. 1 Skill for All Entrepreneurs

Hey Reader, When I was starting out, my wife said:“You seem to be like you’re on a rollercoaster.” When a video I uploaded performed well — I was excited.I was on top of the world. Another day, I got a bad comment, and the whole day was ruined by insecurity. This continued day in, day out. On extreme days, it was the top of the world in the morning, and the valley of death in the afternoon. This brings me to the most important skill to master: Emotional Resilience. That you don’t take…

  • Broken Families break Society

Broken Families break Society Broken families lead to broken societies, distant communities, and empty neighborhoods. My brother and I puzzled a lot. We had one puzzle where, in the end, one piece was missing. We puzzled many landscapes to hang them up as pictures on the wall. Once you found the missing piece, no matter how often you looked at the picture, you always noticed this missing piece. There was an empty space. When I think of broken families, I think of this incomplete puzzle. It…

  • Focus on Strategy, Not Tactics

The other day I read another post that I thought was interesting. The guy said he ran a test: after 800 days of posting daily, he focused on quality over quantity, and then only posted 2 times per week. His point was that too many are only posting daily, but they should do better content. This was setting me riled up. It was a good example of doing what he did, not doing what he said. He got to the many views by posting daily. So that’s the strategy: Post daily. It will give you data, skill,…

  • Don’t Judge a Business by Its Social Media

It is so interesting. A lot of people judge the business by their social following. He got 100k followers—he must have a massive business! Somehow we doubt that small accounts are bigger businesses. I stopped looking at the following and started to look for the actual interaction. There is a lot to be said about the right likes. You can tell fast which small accounts don’t work — because they tell you. With bigger accounts, it’s getting harder to see the difference. The funny thing is: A lot…
