You Always Have a Choice

I just read a post from somebody complaining how bad his dream job is and how the system is responsible it’s so bad.
This seems like it’s so acceptable today.
Everything is responsible for you not thriving or getting where you want to go.

The other day, I heard a young man say that he has issues with girls because of his mother.
When we don’t have one person to blame, it’s so easy to just blame the system.

In my humble opinion, those are weak excuses.

You make everyone and everything around you responsible.
When you could step up and take on the responsibility and ownership over your life.

You’re always left to make a choice.
Step up or stay down.

You can’t blame everything in your life when you prefer to stay on the couch in your comfort zone.

This is so easy.
I know how challenging this is.
I have to fight the battle too – every day.
I’m in the trenches of life too.

I choose to make a decision.
I decide to not give excuses the control over my life.

This is especially hard when trolls try to take it out on me.
There are days when it’s just hard.

Yet we have to stand up.
Make the hard choice.
Get up in the morning. Even after a hard night.

Don’t blame your kids for waking you up.
Don’t blame the system for a job you chose to work in.

You’re not trapped — because you have a choice.
You can decide how you react to the things in your life.

It doesn’t matter what I do. I start out well balanced. With my priorities defined. Over time I tend to lose it and dive too deep. I get caught by the Hustle Trap. With time I self-protect better and I don’t burn out as much as I used to. Somehow I know what not to do and then still fall for it. I’m so excited to do the work that I skip breaks that I should take. I sometimes end up thinking the amount I work is a badge of honor. This is the problem. It’s like the frog in the pot. He doesn’t…

  • Wait for the Harvest

Hey Reader, Today almost everything is immediate. You go onto Amazon and have something someday delivering. The longest you need to wait is maybe two days. And that already feels like forever. When we’re starting a business we also expect immediate results.People hop in to buy our products. The reality is hitting hard in the face when nobody shows up.Life doesn’t happen immediate. Most things worthwhile take time. You won’t put a seed in the ground to have the harvest tomorrow. It takes a few…

  • Build the bridge, not just the offer

You don’t sell a product, you’re not creating an offer or doing a service — you’re helping someone transform their lives. They have a problem or pain, and they wish to make a change. Anything we do is there to help them build a bridge. It is the Bridge of Transformation. So whenever we think of something to do or build, we should first understand the Transformation: Where are they coming from? Where are they going? Then we get a deeper understanding of the different options we can build. In…

  • New is better than better

New is better than better Don’t try to beat your competition by being better than they are. Don’t try to win at their game. Be a new opportunity. Challenge the standard. Create something new. It’s not just the same old – just a bit better. It’s not good enough to make a little less. Find the new combination. Don’t just try to be better. Being better means you can easily be compared. You will not create mass momentum – you will be fighting a pricing war. Who can be the cheaper solution? It’s…

  • Nobody Asked Me This Question…

One thing I keep thinking about is how slow I was going. In the beginning, I kept telling people about all the ideas and plans I had. The response I got was cool. They were all excited for me and interested in what I would do. Yet nobody asked me how fast I can do it. This is the most important question after all. Most of us start solo. So we are our fastest bottleneck too. Our runway is not long. The only question that matters is:How fast can you ship a product to get real results? The…

  • Stuck in your Business? Let’s fix that in 5 days.

Over the last few months, I’ve done a lot of coaching. Different men. Different stories. But one thing keeps showing up — again and again. Overwhelm. Not just “I’m busy” overwhelm. Not “too many emails” overwhelm. The kind that drains your confidence and clouds your calling. And here’s what I’ve noticed: Most overwhelm doesn’t come from too much to do. It comes from confusion or a lack of clarity. You’re not sure what the next step is.You’re not sure who to help, or how. You’re trying to build…
